Interstate 45 between Beltway 8 and Galveston is one of the most crowded truck corridors in Texas, and League City sits in the middle of it. We bring the 50-ton rotator and heavy wreckers down the Gulf Freeway for rollovers and load shifts, into the Clear Lake area for bus and motorhome recoveries, and out to the bay-side roads where boat haulers, cranes and construction equipment get into trouble.
Corridors and hot spots we cover
- I-45 Gulf Freeway from Beltway 8 to the Galveston causeway
- FM 518 (Main Street / League City Parkway) and FM 646
- SH-96 League City Parkway and SH-3
- NASA Parkway (NASA Road 1) and Bay Area Boulevard
- FM 2094 and SH-146 toward Kemah, Seabrook and Bayport
- FM 517 and FM 1266 toward Dickinson and Alvin
The Gulf Freeway runs heavy in both directions all day: containers and chassis to and from Bayport, construction freight for the fast-growing subdivisions, and everything moving between Houston and the island. The rebuilt sections through Dickinson and League City have wide shoulders, but the frontage-road ramps and the FM 646 and FM 518 interchanges are where fatigued drivers and top-heavy loads roll. We stage the rotator where the incident commander wants it and clear lanes fast without dragging a trailer that could have been lifted.
Clear Lake adds its own work: Class A motorhomes and tour buses coming off NASA Parkway, cranes and lifts on the marina and refinery-adjacent sites along SH-146, and the odd yacht or boat hauler that needs a controlled lift after a trailer failure. Webster, Friendswood, Dickinson, Kemah and Seabrook are all inside our normal emergency radius.

DetailsLeague City & Clear Lake questions
Do you cover Galveston County?
Yes. League City, Dickinson, Friendswood, Kemah, Seabrook, La Marque, Texas City and Galveston Island are all covered on an emergency basis, with transit time quoted at dispatch.
Can you recover a motorhome or bus on the Gulf Freeway shoulder?
Yes. Coaches and Class A motorhomes are a regular job for us. The rotator lifts from the side so we do not drag the unit, and the heavy wrecker with underreach tows it without damaging the drivetrain or the body.
Where would a recovered truck go?
To your shop, your dealer or your vendor anywhere in the Houston area, or to our TDLR-licensed storage facility in Sugar Land if it needs to wait for an adjuster.
