Heavy Recovery for Insurance Adjusters & Claims Teams

Live dispatcher 24/7. Tell us the location, the unit, and whether it's loaded. We'll give you a real ETA before you commit.

You have seen the recovery invoices that arrive as one line item and a big number. Ours do not look like that. Heavy Duty Towing Houston runs heavy recoveries with the assumption that an adjuster will read every line, so every job is photographed, timed, and itemized from the first call to the last signature.

What you get on every heavy claim

  • Itemized invoice: equipment by unit, time on scene, labor by person, consumables, and any outside services, such as environmental cleanup, listed separately
  • Time-stamped scene photos before, during, and after the recovery
  • A short recovery narrative from the supervisor describing the condition of the unit and the method used
  • Salvage coordination: tow to the yard of your choosing, or to our TDLR-licensed storage facility with daily rates published up front
  • Direct contact with the recovery supervisor for questions about the method or the bill

Why method matters to the claim

Uprighting a loaded trailer with a rotator instead of dragging it with straight wreckers changes the damage on the estimate. Frames stay straighter, roofs stay attached, and more cargo stays sellable. When we choose a cargo transfer before a lift, or a second unit, we tell your insured why in real time so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Assignments and vendor setup

We accept assignments directly from carriers, TPAs, and independent adjusters for recoveries, tows, storage, and salvage moves in the Houston area and across Texas. Certificates of insurance, W-9, and our TDLR license information are available for your vendor file, and we can invoice per your billing instructions with claim numbers referenced on every document.

Common questions

Can you provide a recovery estimate before the work starts?

For non-emergency recoveries and salvage moves, yes. On active scenes we give the insured and the adjuster a verbal range as soon as the plan is set and we update it if conditions change.

What are your storage rates?

Storage is at a TDLR-licensed vehicle storage facility and follows Texas regulated rates for heavy vehicles. The current rate sheet is available from dispatch and is listed on the invoice.

Do you release vehicles to salvage buyers and auction transporters?

Yes, with the release paperwork required by TDLR and your instructions on file. We coordinate pickups during business hours and can load units for the transporter.
