US-290 is the road to Austin and the road to some of the biggest distribution and manufacturing campuses in the Houston area, and the Grand Parkway now ties it to every other freeway in the region. Our rotator and heavy wreckers reach Cypress, Jersey Village, Hockley and Waller from Sugar Land by way of the Grand Parkway and Highway 6, for the rollovers on 290, the machinery in the industrial parks, and the equipment stuck in the sand along the county roads.
Corridors and hot spots we cover
- US-290 Northwest Freeway from the 610 Loop to Cypress, Hockley and Waller
- SH-99 Grand Parkway west segment between I-10 and US-290
- FM 529 (Spencer Road) industrial corridor
- FM 1960 (Cypress Creek Parkway) and Barker Cypress Road
- SH-6 north of I-10 and Fry Road
- US-290 toward Prairie View and Hempstead
Rebuilt 290 is fast, and fast is how loaded trailers end up on their side at the Grand Parkway interchange, the Beltway 8 ramps and the FM 1960 exits. The distribution centers along 290 and the Grand Parkway, the manufacturing plants toward Waller, and the equipment and truck dealers along FM 529 keep our heavy wreckers busy with disabled tractors, trailer swaps and dock-area recoveries, and the rotator handles the tipped forklifts, telehandlers and containers that a wrecker cannot lift straight.
West of the Grand Parkway the ground gets sandy and the shoulders get soft. Hockley, Waller and the Prairie View stretch produce winch-outs and off-road recoveries where a rotator on outriggers beats two wreckers and a long pull. Recovered units can go to your shop anywhere on the northwest side, or to our TDLR-licensed storage facility in Sugar Land.

DetailsCypress & US-290 questions
Do you cover Waller County?
Yes. Waller, Hockley, Prairie View, Hempstead and Brookshire are covered on an emergency basis, with transit time quoted when you call.
Can you lift a tipped telehandler at a job site off FM 529?
Yes. That is exactly what the rotator is for: a controlled lift from the side, rigging that does not add damage, and the machine set back on its wheels or onto a trailer.
How do I reach dispatch?
Call (346) 200-8144, 24 hours a day. Tell us the location, the unit and whether it is loaded, and we will give you an ETA before you commit.
